Samsara Technologies India Private Limited is seeking a Senior Software Engineer - Salesforce to design and develop flexible and scalable solutions on the Salesforce and CPQ platforms. The role requires a deep understanding of Salesforce and CPQ design and development best practices, applying them to deliver effective business solutions. The Senior Software Engineer will collaborate with technical and cross-functional business teams to implement enhancements and projects, resolve incidents, and develop tools to scale revenue-generating operations and increase sales efficiency.

This is a hybrid position requiring the candidate to work from the Bengaluru office 3 days a week and remotely 2 days a week.

The role involves:

• Designing and developing secure, scalable technical solutions on the Salesforce platforms.
• Analyzing business processes and system implementation to identify inefficiencies and critical metrics.
• Evaluating existing code, developing plans to reduce technical debt, and establishing a technology roadmap with system architects.
• Maintaining and optimizing full lifecycle software development using standard configuration, Apex, VisualForce, LWC, APIs, and Force.com applications.
• Mentoring, developing, and training Junior developers.
• Championing and embedding Samsara’s cultural principles.

Minimum requirements include:

• 8+ years of work experience in IT engineering.
• 5+ years of Salesforce development experience with extensive knowledge of Sales Cloud,, Apex, VisualForce, LWC, and Force.com tools and applications.
• Self-starter, self-motivated.
• Experience in Agile development methodology.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Experience designing test plans, performing unit testing, and writing test classes to ensure proper code coverage.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
