Job Description
unybrands is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to ensure consistent supplier quality performance and manage quality-related projects. This role involves technical expertise, engineering support, and proactive project management. The Supplier Quality Engineer will work closely with suppliers and internal teams to meet quality expectations and drive continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct supplier audits to evaluate manufacturing processes and quality management systems.
- Monitor supplier performance metrics and drive continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with suppliers to enhance inspection processes.
- Ensure supplier adherence to AQL standards and SPC.
- Project manage quality requirements for major retail customer orders.
- Engage with Procurement, Manufacturing, and Engineering teams.
- Provide reporting on supplier performance and risk assessment.
- Collaborate on technical specifications and requirements.
- Review engineering drawings and manage Engineering Change Requests.
- Support suppliers in resolving technical issues.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
- 5-10 years' experience in Supplier Quality Engineering or Quality Management.
- Experience with electrical consumer product manufacturing.
- Proficiency in reading technical drawings and specifications.
- Relationship-building skills with suppliers and stakeholders.
- Experience managing quality for major retail or international brand projects.
- Native Mandarin speaker with business-level English.
- Willingness to travel to supplier sites.
