Job Description
Caylent, a cloud-native services company, is seeking a motivated Sales Development Representative to join its growing sales team. This role is fully remote and offers an exciting opportunity to learn about sales motions and work with Amazon Web Services (AWS). The Sales Development Representative will be responsible for initiating outbound campaigns and generating new business for the inside and field sales teams. They will have the chance to develop foundational sales skills alongside a tenured Account Executive team.

Role involves:
  • Identifying and prospecting new potential clients using lists and campaigns
  • Running demand generation campaigns with the sales team
  • Initiating contact with prospects via email and LinkedIn
  • Scheduling high-quality meetings for the sales team
  • Attending meetings with Inside Sales Representatives or Account Executives and providing notes
  • Following up with potential customers who showed interest but did not purchase

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree completed/in progress
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills
  • Strong work ethic and self-drive
  • Ability to think strategically and tactically
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Highly organized with good time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Great active-listening skills
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude
  • Experience collaborating with internal teams
  • Patient with good phone etiquette
  • Strong computer literacy skills
