Job Description

Lantern, a specialty care platform, is seeking a Claims Manager to oversee its healthcare claims process in Dallas, Texas. The Claims Manager will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate billing, collections, and reimbursement. This role involves team management, optimizing revenue cycle processes, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. The successful candidate will work closely with the Director of Revenue Cycle Management, external partners, and internal teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the submission, processing, and follow-up of healthcare claims.
  • Ensure timely and accurate claims processing.
  • Manage a team of claims professionals.
  • Generate and analyze reports on key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Hire, develop, and retain talent.
  • Model a team-centered culture and reward innovation.
  • Identify and resolve problems to ensure satisfaction.
  • Partner closely with Network teams.
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with leadership.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in healthcare claims administration.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing direct and indirect reports.
  • Advanced experience utilizing Microsoft application suite, especially Excel.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Motivated team player with a positive attitude.
  • Ability to effectively organize work activities to meet deadlines.
