Senior Platform Engineer at Dovetail

Dovetail, a leading AI-first customer insights hub, is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to join their platform engineering team in Sydney. The role involves evolving Dovetail's existing platform-as-a-product and contributing to delightful user experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Join Dovetail's platform engineering team.
• Own the technologies that power Dovetail's engineering efforts.
• Support high-quality product infrastructure through design and implementation.
• Help mature the operational health of the platform.
• Support other engineers through code review, pair programming, and mentorship.
• Foster a culture of pragmatism in software development.

Requirements:

• Experience in platform engineering with technologies like TypeScript, GraphQL, Aurora PostgreSQL, AWS, containerization (EKS or ECS), serverless technologies, developer tooling, and infrastructure-as-code (Pulumi and Terraform).
• Experience working on platform projects and driving quality.
• Pragmatic and flexible approach to problem-solving.
• Excellent, concise communication skills.
