Staff DevOps Engineer / SRE

Job Description

The company is seeking a Staff DevOps Engineer / SRE to lay the groundwork for their infrastructure and shape a culture of reliability and security. The role involves working closely with backend and smart contract teams to build scalable, high-availability systems that power their MEV-driven staking platform, supporting a growing global user base. This is a remote-first position.

• Architect, deploy, and manage secure, scalable infrastructure
• Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines, observability stacks, alerting systems, and incident response processes
• Oversee bare-metal and cloud-based infrastructure
• Implement strong security measures
• Support mechanisms to minimize network spam and boost validator incentives
• Troubleshoot and optimize Linux-based systems, containerized environments ,and blockchain node operations
• Collaborate with team and partners to ensure robust block production and incentive alignment across the network

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineering
• Proficiency in at least one backend development language
• Demonstrated ability to design and maintain scalable, high-availability infrastructure
• Hands-on experience with bare-metal infrastructure
• Strong expertise in cloud administration (e.g., AWS)
• Security-focused mindset with experience in access controls, endpoint security, intrusion detection, and attack vector monitoring
• Proficiency in building CI/CD pipelines, observability tools, alerting systems, and incident management workflows
• Extensive experience with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and Linux system administration
• Familiarity with blockchain nodes and decentralized infrastructure
