Staff DevOps Engineer / SRE

Job Description

A company is seeking a Staff DevOps Engineer/SRE to lay the groundwork for its infrastructure and shape a culture of reliability and security. The ideal candidate will work closely with the backend and smart contract teams to build scalable, high-availability systems that power the MEV-driven staking platform.

• Architect, deploy, and manage secure, scalable infrastructure.
• Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines and observability stacks.
• Oversee bare-metal and cloud-based infrastructure.
• Implement strong security measures.
• Support mechanisms to minimize network spam.
• Troubleshoot and optimize Linux-based systems and containerized environments.
• Collaborate with the team and partners to ensure robust block production.

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineering.
• Demonstrated ability to design and maintain scalable, high-availability infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with bare-metal infrastructure.
• Strong expertise in cloud administration (e.g., AWS).
• Security-focused mindset with experience in access controls.
• Proficiency in building CI/CD pipelines, observability tools, and alerting systems.
• Extensive experience with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and Linux system administration.
• Familiarity with blockchain nodes and decentralized infrastructure.
