Our client, a venture group, is seeking a Vice President of Operations. The VP of Operations will oversee project management, research initiatives, and talent acquisition to support the company's portfolio projects. This role requires strategic thinking and strong organizational skills to drive operational success across portfolio companies.Responsibilities include:
- Lead and manage multiple projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with strategic objectives.
- Conduct market research to identify growth opportunities and inform decision-making.
- Oversee hiring processes to attract and retain top talent for operational roles.
- Provide operational assistance to portfolio companies with project planning and execution.
- Identify and implement operational efficiencies across functions.
- Establish KPIs to track project progress and report results to leadership.
- A Bachelor’s Degree in any major.
- 7 years of experience in operations or project management, preferably in consumer goods or startup environments.
- Demonstrated success in driving startup operations and growing companies, leading projects to completion, improving operational efficiency, and achieving measurable results.
- Familiarity with consumer-facing industries.
- Fluency in both verbal and written English and Chinese; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
- Proven ability to lead and develop teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects effectively.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
