Job Description
A leading global crypto custodian is seeking a Business Development Executive to join their team, reporting to the Head of BD & Sales in Asia. This role focuses on identifying and cultivating new business opportunities within the Web3, DeFi, and blockchain ecosystem. The Business Development Executive will play a crucial role in expanding the company's presence and fostering strategic partnerships.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities within the Web3, DeFi, and blockchain ecosystem.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute online and offline events.
- Establish and nurture relationships with key external stakeholders.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
- Work closely with internal teams to align business development strategies.
- Represent the company at major Web3 events.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in business development, sales, or related fields.
- A background in payment companies is required, with some exposure to Web3 clients.
- Proven track record of generating leads and closing partnerships in the tech or fintech space.
- Experience in organizing and hosting industry events, both virtual and physical.
- Proficiency in English, and conversational Mandarin is required.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving industry and work independently with a proactive mindset.
