Senior Product Manager (Platform)

Job Description

The company is looking for a Senior Product Manager to drive product initiatives for its cryptocurrency exchange, from initial concept to launch. The Senior Product Manager will work closely with design, frontend, and backend teams to create exceptional features. They will specify product requirements, carry out user research, incorporate feedback, and assist with quality assurance.

The Senior Product Manager will directly engage with customers to understand their needs, conduct market research, and prioritize projects while considering trade-offs. They will also create and manage the team's roadmap, objectives, and dependencies to align with strategic goals. They will serve as the team's representative, ensuring effective cross-functional communication to keep projects on schedule.

In this role, the Senior Product Manager will:

• Work with design, frontend, and backend teams to deliver high-quality features.
• Define features, write specs, conduct user studies, iterate based on feedback, and support QA testing.
• Interact with customers to understand their needs and build empathy.
• Perform market research to guide decisions.
• Prioritize projects, balancing trade-offs effectively.
• Develop and manage the team's roadmap, milestones, and dependencies, aligned with strategic goals.
• Represent the team in cross-functional communications.

The ideal candidate should possess:

• 3+ years of product management experience, ideally with trading/exchange platform expertise.
• Experience delivering large projects and managing team dependencies.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to influence stakeholders.
• Ability to work well with design, engineering, QA, and other teams.
• A data-driven mindset focused on user needs.
• Passion for crafting compelling customer-facing products.
• Aptitude for grasping and applying technical concepts.
