(Senior) Product Manager (Trading)

Job Description

A cryptocurrency exchange is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead product initiatives from inception to execution. This role offers the opportunity to shape an industry-defining platform. The Senior Product Manager will make a global impact by launching products and features, working closely with engineers, designers, analysts, marketers, and cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional results.

The role involves:

• Interacting with customers to build empathy and address their needs.
• Conducting market research to inform product strategies.
• Prioritizing initiatives and projects, balancing necessary trade-offs.
• Developing and maintaining the team’s roadmap, milestones, and dependencies, aligned with strategic priorities.
• Defining features, writing specs, conducting user studies, refining based on feedback, and supporting QA testing.
• Monitoring progress and coordinating with developers, designers, marketing, and operations teams.
• Managing the backlog and ensuring timely delivery of products and features.

Requirements:

• Experience launching and iterating on successful software or financial products at scale.
• A data-driven approach that prioritizes the user’s perspective with empathy.
• Strong enthusiasm for creating enjoyable customer-facing products.
• Proven leadership skills with initiative and results-driven outcomes.
• Excellent collaboration skills with design, engineering, QA, and other teams.
• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of retail trading or gamification.
