Data Operations Engineer Specialist at Clarity AI

Clarity AI is seeking a Data Operations Engineer Specialist to join their Data Strategy team. In this role, the individual will leverage coding skills in Python and SQL to manage data from various sources and enhance the productivity of the research team, reducing the operational burden on the development team. The Data Operations Engineer Specialist will work to grow Clarity AI's Sustainability database, allowing the company to enhance the productivity of the research team and reduce the operation burden of the development team. This role involves collaborating with both the development and research teams.

Responsibilities:

• Consulting data and using their coding skills (Python and SQL) to manage data from different data sources.
• Creating dynamic data assets using DBT and Airflow.
• Developing automated and refreshable dashboards and reports.
• Developing process operations and automations using orchestration tools.
• Delivering data through existing pipelines and supporting the creation of new pipelines.
• Serving and explaining data to technical and non-technical teams.
• Developing solution architecture diagrams.
• Offering technical support to business stakeholders.
• Modifying and creating new ETLs.
• Supporting third party tools integration.
• Writing maintainable code with tests and version control.
• Interacting with the Data Science team on serving data for modeling and predictions.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of industry experience in data analytics and/or data engineering.
• At least 1 year of professional experience using Airflow and DBT.
• Strong SQL and Python skills.
• Ability to design data models and build pipelines.
• Degree in a quantitative field (CS, Engineering, Math, Physics). Masters degree preferred.
• Excellent oral and written English communication skills (C1 level).
