ML Engineer at Cloudbeds

Cloudbeds is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to join their team and play a key role in building and implementing features that empower lodging customers to make data-driven pricing decisions. The Machine Learning Engineer will work closely with product and engineering teams to identify opportunities for improvement, develop innovative solutions, and drive revenue growth for the hotels that rely on Cloudbeds' platform. This role involves structuring data pipelines and implementing ML models to ensure hotels have the insights they need to maximize their success.

The role involves:

• Developing and implementing end-to-end machine learning features to optimize revenue strategies.
• Building and maintaining data pipelines for large datasets.
• Designing, training, and deploying machine learning models for pricing optimization.
• Analyzing data trends to enhance product development and marketing strategies.
• Collaborating with product, engineering, and customer success teams.
• Conducting experiments and A/B testing to validate model effectiveness.
• Communicating findings and technical insights to stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related quantitative field.
• 3+ years of experience in a data engineering or machine learning role.
• Expertise in deploying ML models at scale on AWS, with experience using MLFlow or similar platforms.
• Strong Python programming skills, with experience using Pandas, Scikit-Learn, and other ML frameworks.
• Expert-level SQL skills and experience working with large datasets.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to apply creative, data-driven solutions to complex business challenges.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
