Senior Backend Engineer - Revenue Management System (Remote) at Cloudbeds

Cloudbeds is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to contribute to their Revenue Management System. The successful candidate will collaborate with data and product teams to integrate AI models into .Net Core backend APIs and build data pipelines. This role involves working within the current C# framework, implementing automated testing and deployment processes, and supporting more junior engineers. The Senior Backend Engineer will optimize application performance, stay up-to-date with industry trends, and work with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement.

Responsibilities include:

• Building and extending the end-to-end solution for the Revenue Management System.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams
• Implementing automated testing and deployment processes.
• Supporting and mentoring more junior Engineers.
• Optimizing application performance and scalability.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience as a full-stack engineer, preferably in a web application software engineering environment.
• 5+ years expertise in C#, .NET Core.
• 1+ years of designing and developing event-driven microservices.
• Expertise in databases and data storage solutions, such as SQL, NoSQL, and ORM frameworks.
• Experience of modern infrastructure tooling (e.g. DataDog, GitHub, Kubernetes, Docker, AWS).
• Expertise of SOLID principles and software design patterns.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively about complex business problems.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
