Job Description
Oklo Inc. is seeking an Instrumentation and Controls Engineer to join their engineering team. This role focuses on developing, analyzing, and integrating measurement and control systems to support reactor operation and power generation. The ideal candidate will be passionate about clean energy and making advanced fission a reality. They should also be comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment and possess excellent communication skills.
Role involves:
  • Developing sensors, instrumentation, and actuators.
  • Developing control strategies and algorithms for industrial equipment.
  • Integrating instrumentation and control components into systems and processes.
  • Supporting the engineering team in integrating and coupling engineering analyses.
  • Providing technical feedback to design teams.
  • Documenting work and writing technical reports.
Requirements:
  • Experience with measurement techniques, signal conditioning, and data acquisition.
  • Experience identifying and specifying components based on requirements.
  • Experience with digital networks and communication protocols.
  • Experience integrating instrumentation and control components into industrial systems.
  • Experience implementing feedback control and automation with industrial equipment.
  • Experience communicating with vendors and manufacturers.
  • Experience with analog and digital circuits.
  • Experience with Python.
