Job Description

Oklo is seeking a Software Engineer to contribute to the next generation of nuclear reactors. The successful candidate will work alongside nuclear engineers, modeling, simulating, and designing advanced fission power technology.

The Software Engineer will be responsible for tackling a variety of challenges in reactor design and analysis within a fast-moving startup environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Transform and optimize reactor data and physics results storage.
  • Design and configure CI/CD pipelines for multiphysics analyses.
  • Develop tools for reactor engineers to visualize, compare, and evaluate reactor designs.
  • Integrate simulation tools into analysis pipelines.
  • Implement physics kernels to solve problems or improve model performance.
  • Develop reactor optimization schemes and statistical experiments.
  • Identify and improve process inefficiencies in reactor design using software.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of work experience.
  • Fluency in Python.
  • Proficiency in Git.
  • Experience with CI/CD.
