Job Description
Oklo Inc. is seeking a Licensing Manager to contribute to their team. This role involves applying nuclear regulatory knowledge to support engineering development in accordance with licensing requirements. The Licensing Manager will collaborate with design engineers, ensuring the design basis complies with U.S. nuclear regulations. They will also develop documentation to support licensing activities, including pre-application and license application processes.

Responsibilities include:
  • Preparing, reviewing, and maintaining licensing documents.
  • Planning and organizing complex assignments in a team environment.
  • Supporting project management of licensing activities and deliverables.
  • Supporting the development of engineering and licensing requirements.
  • Coordinating with design engineers to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Interfacing with the nuclear regulator.
  • Preparing and defending Oklo's licensing positions.
  • Preparing and delivering licensing presentations.
  • Leading the resolution of strategic licensing issues.

Requirements:
  • Passionate about clean energy.
  • Knowledge of 10 CFR 50 and 10 CFR 52.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • BS in engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Proven team player.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
