Quantum Scientist (D/F/M) at QphoX

QphoX is seeking a highly motivated Quantum Scientist to contribute to the development of their quantum modem. This role offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic and diverse team, utilizing cutting-edge methodologies and state-of-the-art tools in a recently expanded laboratory. The Quantum Scientist will be integral in characterizing devices, conducting experiments, and identifying improvements to advance QphoX's technology.Role Involves:

• Measurements and characterization of transducer devices
• Quantum optics experiments
• Analysing, summarizing, and sharing results
• Solving technical and engineering challenges
• Collaborating with fabrication, measurement and simulation scientists and engineers

Requirements:

• PhD in physics, applied physics, optics, photonics, or related field
• 3-4 years of research experience
• Proven experimental track record
• Understanding of quantum optics
• Programming skills in Python
• Ability to collaborate with engineers, scientists and technicians
• Good organizational and planning skills
• Quick to learn new techniques
