Community Manager, Italy (Contract)

Job Description

Reddit is seeking a Community Manager for the Italian market. This contract role, based in London, will focus on growing Reddit's presence in Italy by fostering local communities and building relationships with volunteer moderators. The Community Manager will be responsible for understanding the Italian market, implementing growth strategies, and analyzing data to optimize community initiatives.Reddit's new Community Manager will be responsible for:

• Gaining a deep understanding of the Italian market.
• Iterating and scaling the consumer growth playbook.
• Building strategic plans to cultivate and grow a local community of moderators.
• Implementing a conversion funnel to onboard power users and external creators as moderators.
• Communicating insights to optimize the international consumer growth playbook.
• Analyzing data to uncover community and moderator insights.
• Working cross-functionally with various internal teams.

Reddit requires the following for this role:

• 5+ years of community development and project management experience.
• Deep knowledge and understanding of Italian culture.
• Nuanced comprehension of the digital landscape and Italian internet culture.
• Succinct and persuasive communication skills.
• Results-oriented with high attention to detail.
• Deep interest in developing and driving projects.
• Proficiency in Italian & English and based in the EU timezone.
