Job Description

Reddit is seeking a Senior iOS Software Engineer to join their Chat team. This role involves building innovative solutions for millions of Reddit users worldwide, focusing on creating a real-time, casual chat experience within the Reddit community. The ideal candidate will be working on a high-impact project with wide visibility within the company, collaborating with a team of engineers, product managers, user experience designers, and business analysts.Reddit values moving quickly, maintaining an entrepreneurial spirit, and being receptive to user feedback.Responsibilities:

• Work cross-functionally with product, design, and engineering teams.
• Craft compelling user experiences for iOS.
• Contribute to the team's strategy and participate in product reviews.
• Scope, estimate, and prioritize between conflicting needs.
• Foster a healthy engineering culture and collaborate with other engineers.
• Contribute to the architecture and implementation of chat features.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of iOS development experience using Swift.
• Experience leading large iOS projects.
• Experience with modern iOS frameworks such as SwiftUI, UIKit, Combine, and Concurrency.
• Entrepreneurial spirit and a bias towards action.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams.
