Job Description
Reddit is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join their LS Embedding team. This team focuses on developing multi-entity embeddings to enhance Reddit’s recommendation systems. The engineer will design, develop, and optimize graph-based ML models for large-scale recommendation systems, contributing to cutting-edge ML research and its application in a high-impact production environment.Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement scalable machine learning models.
  • Develop and optimize embedding generation pipelines.
  • Collaborate with ML infrastructure teams for distributed training and serving.
  • Integrate embeddings into personalization and ranking systems.
  • Drive feature engineering efforts.
  • Monitor and improve model performance.
  • Stay updated with the latest research.
  • Participate in code reviews and mentor junior engineers.
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in machine learning engineering.
  • Experience with Graph Neural Networks (GNNs) and large-scale embeddings.
  • Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks like PyTorch Geometric, TensorFlow, or JAX.
  • Strong understanding of graph theory and representation learning.
  • Experience building distributed training and inference systems.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills.
