Hardware Technician (f/m/d) Datacenter at IONOS EN

IONOS, a leading European provider of cloud infrastructure, is seeking a Hardware Technician to manage approximately 190,000 server and network devices in their data centers. Responsibilities:

• Installation, maintenance, and repair of servers, blades, storages, and network switches in high-performance data centers.
• Optimization of data center efficiency through server relocations and modifications.
• Monitoring and repair of dedicated servers according to specified guidelines.
• Evaluation and consultation on the selection of new IT components.
• Maintenance of documentation and expansion of the knowledge database.

Requirements:

• Completed training as an IT systems technician, IT specialist for system integration, or comparable.
• Solid hardware knowledge and experience handling sensitive electronic equipment.
• Basic knowledge of Linux and Windows.
• Fundamentals of scripting and network technology are advantageous.
• Proficient communication skills in German and English.
• A Class B driver's license is mandatory.
