Head of Technical Security (f/m/d) at IONOS EN

IONOS is seeking a Head of Technical/Cyber Security to oversee the organization's technical security strategy, implementation, and maintenance of security systems. The role involves leading a team of security professionals, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. The person will be responsible for identifying potential vulnerabilities and implementing security measures to protect company assets.

Responsibilities include:

• Developing and implementing a technical security strategy.
• Leading and mentoring a team of security professionals.
• Overseeing the implementation of security technologies, including SIEM, vulnerability management, and threat intelligence.
• Collaborating with operations and development teams to comply with industry best practices (ISO 27001) and governmental requirements (KRITIS, NIS2).
• Taking a leading role in security incident management and implementing corrective actions.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience (5+ years) in technical security roles, with 2+ years in leadership.
• Strong knowledge of security frameworks, best practices, and technologies.
• Experience with security tools and technologies, including SIEM, threat intelligence, and vulnerability management solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and critical-thinking abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
