Information Security Manager and Architect (f/m/d) – Cloud Development at IONOS EN

IONOS is seeking an Information Security Manager and Architect to join their team in Berlin. This hybrid role is crucial for designing and implementing security solutions within a scalable cloud environment. He/she will be coaching development teams on IT security aspects and supporting the creation of resilient security architectures.

Responsibilities:

• Coaching development teams on cloud security and secure coding.
• Advising on compliance requirements, including ISO 27001 and GDPR.
• Identifying and evaluating security risks in IT systems.
• Contributing to the design of a security-as-code-driven cloud security architecture.
• Developing disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
• Coordinating responses to security incidents.

Requirements:

• Completed studies in Informatics, Engineering, or a related field.
• Several years of experience in IT security, ideally in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP, Kubernetes).
• In-depth knowledge of network security, IAM, and container security.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible).
• Strong communication and coaching skills.
• Solution-oriented mindset with a proactive approach.
