Senior Software Engineer (f/m/d) - Mitigation-Work-Group, IONOS Cloud

Job Description

IONOS is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their Mitigation Workgroup team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about writing high-quality code and have expertise in Go/Golang. The Senior Software Engineer will play a key role in building the foundation of Europe's leading data sovereign cloud provider.

The role involves:

• Driving the development of cloud-native services on a modern open-source stack powered by Go.
• Conceptualizing and proposing new services and products in a highly dynamic cloud environment.
• Providing expert technical consultation to other developers and departments.
• Establishing and maintaining high-quality software workflows.
• Collaborating to continuously improve the quality, reliability, and performance of services.
• Mentoring and guiding other developers on software projects.

Requirements:

• Proven ability to design, develop, test, and deploy mature, production-ready code, with significant expertise in Go.
• Extensive experience using Kubernetes.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain composure and effectively troubleshoot in production environments.
• Fluency in English is required.
• Fluency in German is highly advantageous.
