Product Manager - Distribution at Cloudbeds

Cloudbeds is seeking a Product Manager of Distribution to oversee the development and optimization of their distribution products. The ideal candidate should be familiar with cross-platform API connectivity and understand how distribution concepts affect daily hotel operations.

The Product Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that empower property owners and managers. Launching new products and growing adoption are essential aspects of this role. The candidate should understand how to leverage frameworks for design thinking, user research, go-to-market strategies, and success measurement.

The Distribution Team at Cloudbeds focuses on working with the ecosystem of hotel inventory, including Online Travel Agencies and Central Reservation Systems. This team manages the core reservation processing engine and Cloudbeds' infrastructure for hotel rate planning.

Role Involves:

• Overseeing end-to-end implementation of distribution-related integrations.
• Optimizing the entire distribution lifecycle.
• Ensuring the delivery of scalable, accurate, and efficient solutions.
• Conducting market research and gathering customer insights.
• Collaborating with engineering teams to optimize platform performance.
• Defining objectives, requirements, and constraints for engineering initiatives.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of product management experience, with at least 2 years focused on platform or SaaS products in the hospitality or property management industry.
• Proven experience in developing features for mid-market or larger enterprises.
• Strong proficiency in technical APIs and integrations methodology.
• Familiarity with Property Management Systems (PMS) and Central Reservation Systems (CRS).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strategic mindset with a hands-on approach.
• Analytical skills with experience using data to inform product decisions.
• Bachelor's degree; advanced degree or MBA is a plus.
