Job Description

IONOS is seeking a Team Lead (f/m/d) - Site Reliability Engineer/GoLang to join their team in Berlin. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in people management and a strong technical background in cloud-native software such as Kubernetes, ArgoCD, OpenBAO, Prometheus, and Golang.

The Team Lead will be responsible for leading a team of 5 engineers, managing internal tooling development, and ensuring the smooth operation of multiple platforms. They will also participate in overall architecture and incident, operations, and change management.

Role Involves:

• Recruiting, Hiring and Coaching a team of 5 Engineers
• Talent Development, Personnel Management
• Development management for internal tooling
• Participation in the overall architecture
• Incident, Operations and change management
• Ensuring the smooth operation of multiple platforms
• Unification and optimization of platforms and processes

Requirements:

• Agile mindset and experience with modern software development methods
• Management experience in software development and IT platform operations
• Sound knowledge of software development, preferably with GoLang
• In-depth knowledge of cloud environments and Kubernetes
• Experience in operating IT platforms based on Linux and Kubernetes
• English and German C1+
