Head of NRE Provisioning (f/m/d) at IONOS EN

IONOS is seeking a Head of NRE Provisioning to lead their Network Reliability Engineering department. This role involves analyzing and improving existing workflows, identifying and implementing efficiency gains, and ensuring timely and efficient network infrastructure provisioning and deployment. The Head of NRE Provisioning will collaborate with NRE Automation to develop and enhance pipelines and automation tooling, aiming to minimize manual steps and optimize efficiency. Additionally, they will work with NRE Operations to align with operational requirements and ensure a smooth handover process. The focus will be on deploying hyperscaling network fabrics and platform-agnostic network services.

In this role, the candidate will:

• Manage and lead an international team of skilled network engineers.
• Create, analyze, and optimize workflows for capacity planning, deployment, and handover.
• Define, monitor, and improve KPIs to measure team performance, process efficiency, and budget compliance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Develop and manage project plans, resource allocation, and timelines.
• Oversee supplier and supply chain management processes.

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Networking, or related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in network operations, engineering, or a related field.
• 2+ years experience in leading high-performing teams, preferably in international environments.
• Good understanding of network protocols, architectures and technologies.
• Profound communication and presentation skills in both written and verbal.
• English is required, German is a plus.
• Experience with process optimization and project management methodologies.
