Linux System Administrator (f/m/d) - Shared Network Infrastructure at IONOS EN

IONOS, a leading European provider of cloud infrastructure, is seeking a Linux System Administrator to join their Shared Network Infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating, developing, implementing, and maintaining the Shared Network Infrastructure Linux server infrastructure and network.

The role involves working within a team of highly motivated network experts, and requires a proactive and creative approach to problem-solving. The company fosters a culture that values innovation and collaboration, offering a flexible and supportive work environment.

Responsibilities include:

• Administration and troubleshooting of highly available and complex infrastructures, including on-call service rotation.
• Further development and optimization of the Shared Network Infrastructure Linux systems and virtualization platforms.
• Evaluation and assessment of new technologies and products.
• Conception, setup, and further development of CI/CD pipelines and necessary technical processes.

Requirements:

• A degree in Computer Science or equivalent education.
• Several years of experience in administering complex Linux systems.
• Proficiency in automation using Ansible and Python.
• Experience with technologies like Proxmox, Docker, Gitlab CI/CD, and checkMK is beneficial.
• Familiarity with Open Source, especially Linux.
• Experience in computer networking is a plus.
• Fluency in English, German being a plus.
