Bondsmith is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their growing team focused on helping customers make the most of their savings. Bondsmith works with financial institutions to provide tools for better returns on cash, client engagement, and simplified operations. The ideal candidate will be smart, driven, and hardworking, ready to build the foundation of Bondsmith's platform.
In this hybrid role based near Old Street, London, the Senior Software Engineer will be part of a team responsible for developing and expanding customer-facing applications. They will take a lead on technical decision making and set a vision for both the products and the technical implementation,working closely with cross-functional and cross-stack teams, specializing in the Typescript stack while also collaborating with the wider development team building backend core systems.

Requirements:
- A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field—or equivalent experience in a relevant role.
- Solid foundation in Typescript development, including server side technologies such as GraphQL, and client side technologies such as React
- Experience in designing simple, service-oriented systems.
- Exposure to at least one cloud platform (AWS is a plus).
- Familiarity with infrastructure tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is helpful.
- Experience in coaching and mentoring team members
