Software Engineer - Integrations at Sifflet

Sifflet is seeking a Software Engineer - Integrations to join their team. Sifflet is building a data observability platform that helps companies make better data-driven decisions. The company's solution enables data engineers and data consumers to visualize data flows, define data quality checks, and identify the root cause of data anomalies.

As a member of the Integrations team, the Software Engineer will be responsible for designing and implementing new integrations with data products, scaling the data ingestion engine, adding new capabilities to existing integrations, and supporting completely new integration types. The role involves researching data source behavior and modeling it within the Sifflet platform.

• Designing and implementing new integrations with data products.
• Making changes needed to architecture and implementation to scale data ingestion engine.
• Adding new capabilities to existing integrations.
• Adding support for completely new integration types.

Preferred qualifications include:

• More than two years of experience in a backend engineer role or equivalent.
• General knowledge around data warehouses, data visualization solutions, and ETL pipelines.
• Willingness to learn Java and Spring Boot.
• Value ownership of projects from design to production.
