Job Description
Ernest Packaging Solutions is seeking a Director of Client Relations to manage sales activities and customer loyalty within the Detroit, MI division. The Director will lead the sales force, nurture supplier relationships, and maximize account penetration.
- Taking ownership of key account relationships
- Providing leadership, motivation, and direction to the sales force
- Developing incremental GTM growth through in-depth selling with existing and new customers
- Managing and overseeing the company’s sales direction and functions
- Striving to exceed the company’s sales objectives
- Managing, supporting, and cultivating the development and growth of the sales force
- Nurturing close working relationships with supplier partners
- Maximizing account penetration via in-depth selling
- Ensuring the sales force communicates customer problems to senior management
- Responding to customer crises for resolution
- Conducting regular reviews with the sales force
- Acting as the point-person for all departments on sales-related issues
- Establishing selling prices
- Supporting the implementation of company policies
- Implementing sales promotions, campaigns, and contests
- Leading monthly sales meetings
Requirements:
- Previous B2B outside sales experience
- Previous experience managing an outside sales team
- Experience with relevant business development approach preferred
- Industry experience not required
- Active driver's license and acceptable driving record
