Data Engineer

Job Description

RxSense is seeking a Data Engineer to contribute to their innovative healthcare technology solutions. The Data Engineer will be responsible for building, optimizing, and maintaining data pipelines. The role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to support data-driven initiatives across the organization.Responsibilities:

• Designing, developing, and maintaining scalable ETL pipelines using Matillion ETL to ingest, transform, and load data into Snowflake.
• Integrating and managing data from various sources, ensuring data quality, reliability, and performance.
• Optimizing SQL queries, scripts, and stored procedures in Snowflake and SQL Server.
• Developing and implementing data models within Snowflake to support business intelligence and analytics requirements.
• Collaborating with data architects and analysts to design and enhance data warehouse schemas.
• Working with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translating them into technical specifications.
• Monitoring data pipeline and ETL performance, identifying bottlenecks and making necessary adjustments.
• Performing troubleshooting and root cause analysis to resolve data issues.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience in data engineering.
• Proficiency in Snowflake, SQL Server, AWS and ETL tools (preferably Matillion).
• Strong SQL and Python skills.
• Experience in query optimization and performance tuning.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and hands-on experience in data modeling.
