Stellic is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to join their team in Karachi, Pakistan. Stellic empowers universities to transform the student experience, helping millions of students navigate their academic journeys. The Senior Frontend Engineer will play a key role in driving upgrades to data pipelines and up-leveling the engineering team's ability to delight users with new product capabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with founders and product managers.
- Drive alignment on prioritization of engineering priorities.
- Be a key decision-maker in selecting front-end architecture and technology stack.
- Develop a strategy for migrating the legacy front-end.
- Design and lead the implementation of scalable solutions.
- Identify and introduce abstractions to increase system performance.
- Mentor other engineers in best practices.
- Ensure quality by designing robust testing strategies.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience as a frontend engineer.
- Strong ownership mindset.
- Deep curiosity and customer empathy.
- Ability to plan, estimate, and manage technical aspects of project execution.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Impeccable communication skills.
- Expert-level skills with modern web technologies (HTML, CSS, WebSockets, etc.).
- Deep experience with TypeScript, JavaScript, and modern front-end frameworks.
- Proven track record of building end-user-facing product experiences.
- Solid foundational working with designers on design systems.
- Deep experience delivering high-performance front-end solutions.
- Experience working with front-end analytics and experimentation frameworks.
- Strong background in API design.
- Solid understanding of software testing, CI/CD practices, observability, etc.
