Responsibilities include:

  • Designing, developing, testing, maintaining, and evolving solutions focused on availability, scalability, performance, and resilience.
  • Sharing knowledge to develop the technical capabilities of less experienced individuals.
  • Ensuring the reliability, scalability, SLA, and SLO of the products.
  • Managing technical debts and engineering backlogs.
  • Participating in incident resolution and problem-solving in production.
  • Conducting proof of concepts with new technologies and use cases.
  • Acting as a technical lead to clarify technical doubts and facilitate team decision-making.
  • Enhancing code reviews and facilitating team learning.
  • Disseminating and ensuring the best software engineering practices within the team.

The ideal candidate should have:

  • In-depth knowledge of GoLang, including goroutines, channels, and interfaces.
  • Experience developing RESTful APIs and gRPC.
  • Knowledge of relational databases like MySQL or PostgreSQL and experience with NoSQL databases.
  • Familiarity with design patterns and best practices in microservices.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, DevOps).
  • Knowledge of DevOps and automation tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience in cloud computing concepts and AWS tools.
  • Good communication skills, critical thinking, and a proactive, engaged, and responsible attitude.
