Zup is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to ensure the quality of data engineering solutions. The role involves working in an environment that supports exponential growth, offering opportunities for professional development and career advancement.

The Quality Assurance Specialist will play a key role in Operations of Data Engineering and GoLang.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Ensuring the quality of data engineering solutions.
  • Designing, developing, testing, and maintaining data pipelines.
  • Implementing and validating data ingestion and transformation processes.
  • Being responsible for the reliability, scalability, and performance of data products.
  • Managing technical debt and engineering backlog.
  • Participating in incident resolution and problem-solving.
  • Serving as a technical reference for the team.
  • Disseminating best practices for quality and test automation.
  • Conducting code reviews and dojos.

Requirements:

  • Experience with AWS services such as S3, Glue, Athena, and Redshift.
  • Knowledge of Terraform.
  • Experience with GoLang.
  • Familiarity with data orchestration tools like Apache Airflow or Step Functions.
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD practices.
  • Experience with RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
  • Ability to develop high-availability and scalable data solutions.
  • Experience in maintaining SLAs and SLOs.
  • Ability to manage technical backlog.
  • Experience in incident resolution.
  • Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
