Zup is seeking a Data Engineer and AWS cloud Specialist to join their Data team. The ideal candidate will contribute to creating a data-driven culture for clients and products by developing technologies and components that accelerate the work of responsible areas.   • Participating in understanding business needs and ensuring value delivery.
  • Designing architecture and evaluating technologies to solve problems.
  • Implementing data pipelines for data democratization in a Data Mesh architecture.
  • Combining architecture and technology to develop reusable components such as connectors, APIs, SDKs, and CLIs.
  • Testing and automating processes.
  • Validating and adapting components based on user feedback.
  • Collaborating on the quality and technological innovation of the product and work environment.
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of large-scale data processing, parallel, and distributed processing (Apache Spark, Hadoop, Hive, etc.).
  • Experience with AWS Data & Analytics cloud services (Glue, EMR, Athena, Quicksight).
  • Knowledge of Python programming language.
  • Mastery of main AWS Cloud services (S3, Lambda, SQS, DynamoDB, API Gateway).
  • Practical experience with relational (SQL) and NoSQL (document and key-value) databases.
  • Mastery of DevOps practices and infrastructure as code (Terraform, CodePipeline, etc).
