Data Analyst (A3), Ecommerce - Ocado Solutions at Internal Board - for Logistics Hourly Paid Employees Only

Ocado Group is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join its Solutions division. In this role, the individual will lead projects using ecommerce, marketing, and customer data to identify efficiency gains and growth opportunities across Ocado Smart Platform (OSP) partners' businesses. The role involves influencing multi-million-pound decisions, improving customer experiences, and contributing to Ocado’s mission of transforming grocery retail.

Role Involves:

• Leading investigations into trends and patterns in partners’ ecommerce and marketing performance.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for partner growth.
• Working with partners to ensure effective use of customer data for marketing and ecommerce reporting.
• Partnering with Ocado Solutions and Technology to identify and close gaps in data feeds and ecommerce data layers.
• Creating compelling dashboards and reports that present insights in actionable, user-friendly formats.
• Contributing to team processes, project management, and mentoring junior analysts.

Requirements:

• Extensive experience with data analysis and visualisation tools (e.g. SQL, Excel/Google Sheets, VBA/AppScript, Data Studio/Tableau/Looker, Google Analytics/Adobe Analytics).
• Proven experience leading projects in the marketing/ecommerce sector.
• Strong understanding of customer lifetime metrics, cohort modelling, and performance marketing reporting.
• Ability to quantify the incremental uplift of partners’ marketing campaigns.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• A problem-solving mindset.
• Experience mentoring junior team members and leading projects independently.
