Job Description
Ocado Group is seeking a Finance Manager for a 12-month secondment opportunity within the Solutions Finance team. This role is based in the UK and involves responsibility for the Morrisons, Casino, ICA, Bon Preu, and Alcampo partnerships.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Finance responsibility for partnerships, working closely with account management teams.
  • Ownership of Ocado’s financial performance, including financial and non-financial KPIs.
  • Detailed understanding of commercial and contractual arrangements with partners.
  • Driving improvements in the financial performance of the Ocado partnerships.
  • Building relationships with partner Finance teams to analyze and provide insight.
  • Providing Finance support, challenge, and insight to the account management teams.
  • Responsibility for Finance areas including invoicing, budgets, forecasts, and commentary.

Requirements:

  • Qualified accountant with 3+ years post qualification experience
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen
  • Self starter, with the ability to work independently
  • Strong influencing skills with external partner teams
  • Analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to get into the detail to understand key drivers of performance
  • Ability to build trusted partnerships with senior leaders and external partners
  • Ability to operate effectively as part of a cross-functional team
  • Previous knowledge of warehouse and logistics operations and/or online grocery or general merchandise businesses is desirable
