Supply Planner (Planning)

Job Description

Ocado Group is seeking a Supply Planner to join their Engineering Supply Chain Operations team. This role is crucial for optimising supply plans, ensuring material and finished goods availability to meet demand, and minimising supply chain costs. The Supply Planner will manage weekly communications with suppliers, lead supplier review meetings, and manage key supply planning processes such as running and executing the MRP supply plan.

The role involves:

• Managing weekly communications with suppliers
• Leading regular supplier review meetings
• Running and executing the MRP supply plan
• Reviewing and resolving MRP supply exceptions
• Evaluating the impact of supply risks
• Establishing and monitoring KPIs
• Preparing supply planning reports and analyses

Requirements include:

• 2-5 years of supply chain experience
• Knowledge of supply planning and inventory management processes
• Familiarity with S&OP and ERP/MRP systems
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• IT literacy (Google Software Suite, MS Office)
