Ocado Technology is seeking an IT Application Project Manager for a 12-month fixed-term contract. The IT mission is to provide strategic direction, governance, and delivery of core IT services. The IT Project Manager will be responsible for the delivery of technical projects, including infrastructure and application delivery across Ocado Group's global IT service portfolio.

The initial project involves a People costs programme, requiring proven experience with Workday (or equivalent HCM systems) and financial software projects.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing multiple IT projects concurrently.
  • Creating and maintaining project documentation.
  • Coordinating resources and managing stakeholder relationships.
  • Gathering requirements and defining project plans.
  • Identifying and managing project risks.
  • Tracking progress against targets and managing budgets.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • At least 7 years of experience in IT project management.
  • Experience with Workday implementations or optimization.
  • Experience managing multi-country HR/Payroll projects.
  • Knowledge of self-service HR tools and regulatory compliance.
  • Skills in project planning, stakeholder management, and problem-solving.
