Job Description

Leapwork is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (DevOps) to join their team in Gurugram. The company is a leading visual test automation platform, offering an AI-powered, visual, and codeless approach to software quality assurance. This role involves working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment using Agile methodologies.

The Senior Engineer (DevOps) will collaborate with product leadership, architecture teams, and release managers. They will define coding standards, ensure adherence to branching strategies, and develop testing approaches. The engineer will also define quality, health, and performance metrics, promoting innovation in technologies, processes, and tools.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and develop software architecture and design.
  • Define and ensure coding standards, branching strategy, and testing approach.
  • Define quality, health, and performance metrics.
  • Promote and drive innovation in technologies, processes, and tools.
  • Look after the community of developers within the organization.
  • Participate in product development and code reviews.
  • Implement DevOps practices, including CI/CD, automation, and cloud-native solutions.
  • Champion a DevOps culture.
  • Ensure robustness, security, and performance of applications through DevOps best practices.
  • Monitor and optimize infrastructure for scalability and efficiency.
  • Support teams in automation of processes and infrastructure provisioning.
  • Oversee security and compliance aspects within the DevOps framework.

Technical Qualifications/Role Requirements:

  • Strong Azure DevOps conceptual skills and experience.
  • Strong technical background with software development standards and best practices.
  • 6-10 years of experience as an IaC developer using Azure ARN templates, Azure Bicep, or Terraform.
  • Strong .NET development experience.
  • Experience in building and managing highly available and scalable distributed systems.
  • Good understanding of the SDLC.
  • Experience with Azure cloud infrastructure.
  • Proficiency in creating and managing Azure infrastructure through Azure DevOps as IaC using Azure Bicep.
  • Expertise in Docker and Kubernetes.
