Alma is seeking a Customer Care Officer to join their Operations team in Lille, France. Alma's mission is to redesign finance, putting it in service of merchants and consumers. The company is a leader in France in the Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) industry, processing payments in 10 European countries.

The Customer Care Officer will be responsible for providing support to customers and merchants, managing debt collection, onboarding new merchants, and participating in continuous improvement processes. They will handle requests via email and phone, interact with stakeholders, and improve processes and tools.

Role Involves:

  • Handling requests from consumers and merchants requiring in-depth analysis.
  • Guiding users in the use of the payment solution.
  • Interacting with internal and external stakeholders to respond to requests.
  • Understanding and anticipating the needs of customers to improve processes and tools.
  • Participating in the upgrading of newcomers' skills.

Requirements:

  • Good in writing in French and English.
  • Open and friendly with good communication and empathy.
  • Perseverant and able to overcome difficulties.
  • Autonomous and resourceful in finding solutions.
  • Rigorous and organized with a methodical approach.
  • Demanding and reliable, committed to quality work.
  • Ideally have a first experience in a similar role.
