Alma is experiencing exponential growth, and is seeking a Senior Account Manager to play a key role in positioning Alma as a true business partner with its top merchants. The Account Manager will be in charge of a portfolio of large accounts, working closely with them to ensure their success.

The Account Manager team was created in March 2021, offering the opportunity to shape the function. The Senior Account Manager will report to the Account Manager Team Lead and collaborate with Sales, Onboarding, Retail Training, and Merchant Support teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage, negotiate, and retain a portfolio of large accounts.
  • Establish trustful relationships with Alma’s large merchants.
  • Be the key point of communication for the merchants' stakeholders, while working closely with the other functions (Onboarding, Training, Support).
  • Deliver meaningful insights.
  • Identify key business opportunities.
  • Ensure your accounts get the most out of Alma (maximise conversion, increase turnover, increase basket size) by leveraging the tools we have developed.
  • Be the voice of merchants.

Requirements:

  • 4-6 years of relevant experience in Sales or Account Management (full-time permanent positions).
  • Experience in the Tech industry is ideal.
  • Coachability and a strong willingness to learn and grow.
  • Fluency in French and full professional proficiency in English.
  • Commercial skills for finding new opportunities for mutual gains.
  • Comfortable and autonomous in managing your portfolio using identified key KPIs.
  • Demanding and reliable with high goals and commitment to quality.
  • Empathetic with a desire to go the extra mile for clients.
  • Autonomous and driven to find solutions and information.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
