Software Engineer II - Back at isaac

Isaac is seeking a Software Engineer II - Back to join their engineering team. Isaac is the largest financial solutions platform for schools in Brazil. The Software Engineer will be part of a team focused on sensitive data security and access management. The team provides functionalities to ensure data security and accelerate new initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop high-impact projects.
• Translate functional and technical requirements into architecture and design.
• Help the team with development practices, design patterns, testing, and code review.
• Encourage good documentation practices.
• Work collaboratively with the team.
• Participate in code reviews, pair programming, and data-driven development.

Requirements:

• Experience in software development or equivalent technical ability.
• Knowledge of relational (e.g., PostgreSQL) and non-relational (e.g., MongoDB, Redis) databases.
• Experience developing web APIs, microservices, and distributed architectures in a programming language.
• Experience writing automated tests (unit, integration, etc.).
• Basic knowledge of CI/CD practices.
