Job Description

Fortune Media is seeking a Staff Writer to cover Asian business, economics, and business topics for Fortune.com. Based in Singapore, the writer will report to Fortune’s Asia editor and collaborate with colleagues in the U.S. and Europe.

Role Involves:

• Covering breaking news stories in Asia.
• Writing deep dives into Asian business, economics, and technology trends.
• Profiling up-and-coming businesses and business leaders in the region.
• Building connections with leaders, experts, and sources.
• Supporting Fortune’s Asia-Pacific conferences by covering sessions and moderating.

Requirements:

• Over five years of professional experience as a reporter and/or writer.
• Fluency in English and Mandarin Chinese.
• Ability to write clearly in multiple formats.
• A demonstrated grasp of business and tech trends in Asia.
• Knowledge of SEO, social media, and online publishing.
