Job Description
Fortune Media is seeking a Business Development Sales Representative to join its entrepreneurial team in Chicago. The role focuses on building and delivering opportunities for companies to leverage Fortune's digital and print assets.

Responsibilities:
  • Engage Fortune 1000 companies as sales prospects.
  • Showcase suitable solutions and opportunities.
  • Secure appointments with key business decision makers.
  • Conduct calls to introduce and pitch Fortune digital assets.
  • Track all activity in the company CRM.
  • Move prospects forward through the sales process.
  • Act as primary contact for Fortune to communicate information to clients.
  • Coordinate with marketing, account management, and activation teams.
  • Maintain a full activity calendar and create a robust pipeline.

Requirements:
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to overcome objections in real time.
  • 2-3 years minimum in a sales role with cold calling.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, social networking platforms, and CRM tools.
  • Experience developing new business relationships.
  • Strong understanding of lead generation.
  • Comprehension of KPIs and goals of client campaigns.
  • Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow.
  • Proven track record in B2B sales, preferably with Fortune 1000 companies.
  • Familiarity with the media landscape.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with adaptability.
  • Flexible and creative.
  • Digital media savvy.
  • Bachelor's Degree
