Job Description
Fortune Media is seeking a Business Development Sales Representative to join their entrepreneurial team. The role involves cultivating opportunities for companies to leverage digital and print assets. The Business Development Sales Representative is responsible for engaging Fortune 1000 companies, showcasing solutions, securing appointments, conducting calls, and maintaining a robust pipeline.

Responsibilities:
  • Engage Fortune 1000 companies as sales prospects.
  • Showcase suitable solutions and opportunities.
  • Secure appointments with key business decision makers.
  • Conduct calls to pitch Fortune digital assets.
  • Track activity in the company CRM.
  • Move prospects through the sales process.
  • Act as a primary contact for assigned Fortune 1000 companies/clients.
  • Coordinate with marketing, account management and activation teams.
  • Maintain a full activity calendar and pipeline.
Requirements:
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to overcome objections.
  • 2-3 years minimum in a sales role with cold calling.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, social networking platforms and CRM tools.
  • Experience developing new business relationships.
  • Strong understanding of lead generation.
  • Comprehension of KPIs and goals of client campaigns.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • High energy and passion.
  • Proven track record in B2B sales, preferably with Fortune 1000 companies.
  • Familiarity with the media landscape.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and adaptability.
  • Flexible and creative.
  • Digital media savvy.
  • Bachelor's Degree.
