Job Description
Fortune Media is seeking a dynamic Sales Account Executive to contribute to the growth of Fortune Media Sales. This role requires someone with 5-7 years of media sales experience, who is a team player, has excellent communication skills, and is accountable. The Sales Account Executive will be responsible for developing and managing a client book of business, proactively ensuring client satisfaction and retention, and continuously hunting and closing new business. The role involves developing new business and assisting in the growth of the current book managed by the sellers in the market.
- Create business plans to track the attainment of goals and quotas
- Manage the entire sales cycle from finding a client to securing a deal
- Unearth new sales opportunities through networking and turn them into partnerships
- Present products to prospective clients
- Provide after-sales support
- Remain in frequent contact with clients
- Become a Fortune and client needs expert
- Negotiate agreements and keep records of sales
- Proven experience as an Account Executive or similar role
- Knowledge of market research, sales, and negotiating principles
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Organizational and time-management skills
- Cross platform sales experience
- Established relationships with clients and media agencies
- Base salary plus commissions
- Total compensation of ~150-200k+
