Job Description
Fortune Media is seeking a dynamic and ambitious Sales Account Executive to help drive success and continued growth. The Account Executive will be responsible for developing and managing a client book of business and proactively reaching out to ensure client satisfaction and retention. She or he also will continuously hunt and close new business, with a focus on Fortune 500 accounts. The ideal candidate demonstrates a teamwork mentality, excellent communication skills, and takes ownership, being accountable to goals. Responsibilities include:
  • Creating business plans to track the attainment of goals and quotas
  • Unearthing new sales opportunities through networking and turning them into partnerships
  • Presenting products to prospective clients
  • Managing the entire sales cycle from finding a client to securing a deal
  • Providing professional after-sales support
  • Remaining in frequent contact with other sellers and clients
  • Becoming a Fortune expert and an expert on clients’ needs
  • Negotiating agreements and keeping records of sales
Qualifications include:
  • Proven experience as an Account Executive or in a sales/customer service role
  • Knowledge of market research, sales, and negotiating principles
  • Outstanding navigation of MS Office products; CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) is a plus
  • Excellent communication/presentation skills and ability to build relationships
  • Organizational and time-management skills
  • Cross-platform sales experience
  • Demonstrated relationships amongst clients and media agencies
Fortune Media offers:
  • Total compensation of $125,000.00 - $150,000.00 OTE
